Web Design

We will design the structure of your site to reflect today’s standard in coding. Rather than using tags and frame tags to format your page layout we will use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The advantage of CSS is that the code that controls the layout of your page resides in a file separate from the content of your page. When search engine spiders reach your site they will be more likely to index all the content in each page since the cumbersome tags will be out of the way.

We will also ensure that all pages have the same primary navigation and each page will if needed have a breadcrumb trail. This will help customers easily find their way around your sites. Rather than using button images, which cannot be read by search engines, we will structure your navigation in text so that search engines will be able to follow all the links on your site.

We will carefully review your content, ensure that headings contain relevant keywords for the search engines and ensure that headings are contained within appropriate tags for maximum search engine visibility.

We will include appropriate title tags, meta description tags, keyword tags and image alt tags to help search engines index your site correctly.

Our goal is to provide a website that is easy to read, easy to navigate and maximizes conversions while, at the same time, presents search engines with the format and content they need to index all pages within your website.

The careful attention to detail combined with rigorous design using cascading style sheets (CSS) and xHTML will provide maximum visibility of your site to the search engines.

All pages and images will be optimized for fast page loading and will be coded to ensure correct printing. All pages will contain unique title tags, meta description tags, meta keyword tags and alt tags for optimal search engine visibility.

Content Management System (CMS)

The website provided by Brighter Idea will be equipped with an easy-to-use, robust content management system, or CMS. The CMS will allow for non-technical staff members to add, edit or delete HTML content areas of the website based on the individual user’s role-based permissions in the system.

The Client will have complete control over the direction of the content of the website and will no longer be dependant upon a vendor to make updates quickly.

With minimal training, staff members will be able to change text and image elements of the pages on the website, and add new pages using a simple web-based browser.
